Turn off classroom lights only have studio lights on because it will affect white balance
On each light there is a dial ranging from 1-6
1 is the lowest setting (lowest amount of flash) and 6 is the strongest setting (highest amount of flash)
Each light is set to number 3
If you adjust the height of the light and it is over the shoulder height make sure you put sandbags on each stand of the lamp
Softbox- evenly spreads the light
Diffusion- on the light/screen- softens the light (natural light- it's a piece of material)
Have the model 5-6 feet away from the backdrop
Key light- the main source of light given out
Full light- Fills in the contrast
Hair line light- Put the light in the back of the model/separate the model from background/not blend in/add dimension/light is placed behind the models shoulder/head
Drop levels of light (1-6)
Reflectors- bounce light
White bounces off light
